Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up there. She was a television host for the daytime talkshow The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and was raised at Little Rock, Atwater, as well as Atwater. Sheryl is the product of a very troubled background. She spent most her childhood caring for her younger sister Frankie. Frankie was a patient of polio. She faced a lot of problems with her mother as she was growing to. Sheryl says that at an incident, she was stabbed by her father because he was becoming too close to her. Sheryl when she graduated from college was drafted into the military. Sheryl's passion for comedy was evident. She was the first female winner of the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She launched her TV job in the year 1992, being a regular actor on HBO's comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as host of the T.V. talk show Oh Drama! In 2011, she's co-hosting the Talk show. She has also been in fictional roles on shows including Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
